Revered as the radiant Mother of the Vedas, Goddess Gayatri is the embodiment of divine wisdom, inner illumination, and awakened consciousness. Her presence is cherished as a guiding light that dispels the darkness of ignorance, awakening clarity, discernment, and the highest truth within the heart and mind.
Created in honor of her divine essence, the Gayatri Yantra is a sacred geometric symbol used for centuries to support meditation and contemplation. As the eyes rest upon its harmonious patterns, the mind is gently invited into stillness, opening space for insight, presence, and inner peace.
At the heart of this sacred tradition is the Gayatri Mantra, a timeless Vedic prayer from the Rig Veda (3.62.10), recited as an invocation to the divine light that illumines all creation.
ॐ भूर् भुवः स्वः
तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्॥
Om Bhūr Bhuvah Svah – We invoke the Divine Creator who pervades the physical, mental, and spiritual realms.
Tat Savitur Varenyam – We focus our minds on that supreme, adorable, and life-giving divine light.
Bhargo Devasya Dhīmahi – We meditate upon that sacred, shining splendor which destroys all inner darkness.
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayāt – May that divine light awaken, illuminate, and guide our intellect toward ultimate truth.
